Hi all,
I have been using a WD My Book unit with a Windows XP rev3 laptop computer for a few years; the software
had been working well. Today, trying to start backing up computer harddrive, the Smartware software would not load. I went to WD knowledge base, and followed directions…deleting the Smartware software. Then I tried to find the Smartware software for Windows XP rev 3, and could not find it. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

i think you’ll find it here and instructions … (Note: V1.6x supports WinXP … V.2.0x does not)
