What could be the problem? I don’t have a RAID setup and both the hard drives are fairly new. My IDE drive seems fine. Anyone else experiencing this?
Also, it seems DLGDIAG tools thinks my WD drives are SCSI. Is this normal? Shouldn’t it be read SATA?
I was able to get a SMART reading using my PATA drive that’s running Windows XP. WD reports fine under it so I’m guessing there might be a compatibility issue with Windows 7 x64. Anyone else successfully used WD DLGDIAG on Windows 7 x64?
