Am using WD 640BPVT hard disk past 6 years. Now my windows7 cannot detect my hard drive. but i want to recover my data so i remove my hard drive from my computer and using as a external hard drive with the help of usb casing. But now also i cannot recover my data because my hard drive is very very slow but my data’s are all visible and safe. Now i install Data Lifeguard diagnostic after quick scan it shows ( SMART Offline Immediate command error on drive 2 ). so please help me what to do now.
Unfortunately, it means your hard drive is not healthy. I’d advise against further use since it could compromise the hard drive beyond recovery.
Try contacting a professional data recovery service company since software recovery is not a viable option at this stage.
