My WD external is slowing down my PS4 does anyone know the solution please? I appreciate any help
I’m using a 4TB USB3.0 WD Elements External Drive and haven’t noticed any significant decrease in loading times.
External USB drives will always be slower than the PS4’s Internal Hard Drive … but not to the point of it being a major issue.
You can perk up the PS4 with a 2TB SATA SSD which I have heard has been successful. I also heard the latest PS4 OS supports 4TB so its possible I suppose to really perk up the PS4
