Hi WD, I’m using a WD mycloud home 4TB to work mainly with local network PC. Both devices are connected to a 1Gbps unmanaged switch and the switch connected to a 100Mbps router which play as a DHCP server. The transfer speed both way between PC (which have 1Gbps ethernet adapter also) and the mycloud disk is only 11MB/s. (Both plug and unplug router from switch still have the same speed)
My question is how can i get better local network transfer speed? Is the router port speed affect the performance?
