Slow copying to My Book network hardrive

Hi Guys,

I have a D-Link DIR-655 wireless N router in the house, i have connected to it a bridge unit with 4 ethernet connections at the back. My WDTV unit is connected to that bridge and i have a 2TB My book drive also connected through another ethernet port on the bridge.

When i transfer files from my laptop to the My Book, the transfer is very slow at 480KB/sec and i cant get it to go faster in any way, i also have another HDD connected to the USB port of the My book, same problem.

Any ideas?

what type of cables do you have? how are you connecting to the my book?

Thanks, i will do that; haven’t found a solution yet, checked with many IT guys
