Slow boot time

Hi everybody:

I’m annoyed much by the slow boot time of my 3T mycloud. dmesg shows the following:

[51.055883] initcall init_module+0x0/0x1a4 [ufsd] returned 0 after 34266 usecs
[1034.778467] EXT4-fs (sda4): barriers disabled

[1034.964991] EXT4-fs (sda4): re-mounted. Opts: user_xattr,barrier=0,data=writeback

[1335.663781] EXT4-fs (sda4): error count: 1170

[1335.675938] EXT4-fs (sda4): last error at 1408894957: ext4_mb_generate_buddy:739

does that mean the drive performs a fsck every time it boots which takes about 1000 secs?

Hello,

What firmware are you running on the unit?

Please keep in mind that the unit is designed to be on 24/7 so you can access the unit remotely from a different location. However, the unit shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to boot.

Thank you for responding. My version is 3.4.1 ( the last v3 version )

Is there any way to figure out what exactly it’s doing during the 1000 secondes?

dmesg didn’t give detailed info.
