Slow... after firmware update

Just updated to the latest firmware on the live hub.  All worked well and re-booted successfully after install.

Since the upgrade the menu’s seem to be running really slowly.  While looking through my video list it takes time for the device to catch up with my selection.  It then takes ages for the chosen video to load - i get the loading circle on screen for a while - goes black and then finally loads the film.  

During the film it goes slow and drops audio, it sorta freezes and then plays the film jumpy with no sound.

I have a WD Network hardrive directly connected to my bt homehub as is the wd tv.

Any1 else had this issue?  Was all working fine before the upgrade.

Have you tried resetting the unit. Press the bottom paperclip button for a couple of seconds and then release with the unit fully booted up. This sometimes sorts out problems after an update.
