Size limit for moving folders to internal storage?

Hi

I move files from my PC to the WD TV Live hub internal storage through the network.

In the root directory \WDTVLIVEHUB\WDTVLiveHub I have several folders, Anime, Music, backgrounds etc.

If I try to move a folder from my PC DIRECTLY to the anime folder and it is larger than ~ 4-5 GB it comes up with an error message saying “There is not enough space on WDTVLiveHub. You need an additional XX GB to copy these files.”

There is plenty of space still on the HDD.

Curiously, I can copy the same folder directly to the root drive no problem, then shift the folder into the anime folder so the problem is not insurmountable, just annoying.

Any ideas or similar experiences?

Cheers

As far as I know, the drive in the WD TV Live Hub does not have a size limitation, I have copy movies over 10 GB and never had any issues. Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
