Since update my MyBookLive with lastest firmware 02.43.09-038, cannot access with ssh?

I have update my MybookLive 2 To with the latest firmware 02.43.09-038 and i cannot acces with ssh my drive now.

Ssh is activated but each time i get the message “Permission Denied, please try again”

Have you tried a drive reset and/or power cycle after the firmware update?

thanks for you help. Yes i did a reboot of my drive after updating. I have no problem to login on the web interface but cannot log with ssh even after changing my password by a simple  one.

If you can’t log in via SSH, how are you changing the password for SSH??

Your SSH password is *NOT* the same as the drive’s password…

As I said, that’s not the SSH password.

Unless you changed it (via SSH) the password is and always has been the same:  

username: root

password: welc0me

I have tried the root/welc0me but it failed also.

I don’t remember if i have changed the root password using ssh. Is there a way to reset the root password ?

Oh i am sorry … I have really changed my root password and i recover it now…

So the problem is not the firmware, the problem is the guy sitting in front of the PC and the screen :slight_smile:

I was sure i had synchronized my root and my admin password.
