Sick and tired of network shares not working

had same issue just rolled back my firmware as i dont like resetting anything which i have not done since i purchased the unit over 9 months ago it worked for me

So you don’t mind rolling back but don’t like resetting. What exactly is wrong with resetting. I realise it does not cure all ills but its really easy and worth a try.
