How do I change raid set up on a GRaid shuttle xl to Raid 6?
Larry, you will need to unlock the software by clicking the padlock in the bottom corner, then you can delete the existing Disk Array.
Once that is gone you can use the Wizard > Advanced and pick the RAID type you want. Make sure you click add on the Volume step and it will format once it has built the RAID.
The RAID isn’t completed when it mounts, it has to synchronize. That process is shown in the Background Activities tab and will take many hours.
