Do you have a My Cloud or My Cloud Home Duo? They are not the same devices. The My Cloud Home line uses a different operating system and apps.
If you have a My Cloud Home Duo see the dedicated My Cloud Home Duo subforum where users more familair with that device may be able to assist. And you should read through the My Cloud Home support site including reading the My Cloud Home User Manual which explains how to setup and use the device including how to access the device on the local network and how to access it from a remote location.
