Several issues after upgrading to os5 - Indexing running for almost 2 weeks

Hi everyone.

This is my second time posting on the platform after contacting WD support directly and no response.

Since upgrading the OS, I have been facing issues with my myex4100. The most significant one is with the cloud access. All users are not able to access the server through cloud, even after resending account activation. I also tried adding a completely new user to the account but no joy.

With the new accounts/shares I tried to add and the old ones too, when they try to signin to the cloud access they get the error “No associated NAS”

The only user able to access the cloud is the user/email associated with the admin. Having said that, still the account still face issues with the cloud access. Sometimes I get the error “Device is offline”,

or sometimes this one:
“No network shared folders detected”

Then whenever i’m lucky enough to access the cloud with the admin account/email, I only see few folders out of of the several folders in the device. I’m not sure if it’s because the files are still indexing.

Although the files still shows indexing (that has been going on for 1 week now), however, I don’t think the errors listed above are solely caused by the files indexing.

Any help please? The cloud access is used by a team and no one is able to use since upgrade.

@gerrardvick What’s your support case number and did you provide the system logs for your EX4100 attached to the case? If not, please collect the system logs and attached to your support case.

I should also mention the indexing have been going on for almost 2 weeks now with only about 1 TB files. The percentage keeps going up and down, one minute is at 74% the next minute it’s at 23%.
