Setup to network with no remote possible?

I have a WD LIVE Hub that I have been using at home for 6 months. To make long story short, I brought it on an extended trip and forgot the remote. I was able to download the WDTV Media Remote   App for my Android. The player WiFI adapter keeps blinking, I can see the home screen but the player is not hooked up to Internet and this “remote” says the player has to have an Internet connection to use. Has anybody used this App or have a solution to my problem?

Try to access the Hub’s interface from your computer by typing the IP address of your Hub in a browser or //wdtvlivehub in a browser, it allows you to configure the settings.
