I am trying to access my facebook account on my WD TV Live Hub. I can enter my email address okay. But when I enter my password, which is 6 characters, and hit submit, the screen comes back with 19 characters (***…) in the field, I have no idea where this is coming from. If I hit submit again, the screen comes back with the password field blank. WD tech support has never encountered this problem. All they are advising is to go back to a previous firmware version and try again.
I believe that you can forget about the number of * characters that appear. Are you sure that you are putting in the correct account details? Do you have any special characters in your paasword?
