I am trying to set up my mycloudex2ultra after a windows reinstall.
When I go here:
…and click on mycloudex2ultra it says the site can’t be reached.
I have pressed the reset button for over 5 seconds.

I was on the chat line to someone yesterday for an hour and he couldn’t get me connected. He went off with the log file but I haven’t heard anything today from them
So a few probing questions;
Presumably - - the issue is in the PC that just got reloaded, not the NAS. So. . .reset of the NAS shouldn’t be an issue. But just to confirm: Can you access the NAS from another PC?
The IP address of the NAS should not have changed. Can you access the NAS by typing in the IP address into a browser window?
Does the NAS show up in windows file explorer (under “network”). Is there anything funky in the IP assignment of the PC? I presume it has an IP address in the same range of addresses as the NAS unit. (Do they both get IP addresses via DHCP, or are they assigned numbers?). Your PC - - is network discovery on? Does the PC think the home network is “public” or “private” (you want private).
If you press the reset button too long. . . you may wind up doing a 4 second or worse a 40 second reset on the device. Not the end of the world. . .but a tad annoying as you will have to reconfigure a few things. (i.e. you will have to reset admin password after 4 second reset. . reset all the users after 40 second reset)
Are you running OS/5 (newer stuff) or OS/3 (much older stuff). Hint: If you can access using WD web apps. . . .it’s OS/5.
