Setting up a WDS500G1B0A as a boot drive

I am seriously considering the purchase of the above drive. I would like to use it as a boot drive in my system. Is software provided with the new drive to facilitate the transfer of Windows 10 to the new drive? If not, can you recommend the best way to accomplish this task?

For my application, it is not necessary that the partitioning of the new drive matches the original drive as long as window 10 and the currently installed applications continue to run. My original drive has two partitions. I would prefer that the new drive to have only one partition.

The unit supports Acronis True Image WD Edition Software for cloning. It will allow you to clone your hard drive and distribute the remaining space into a separate partition or extend the original partition in order to use the unit’s full space.
