Hi,

I have plugged the WD play into the laptop, following this I connected it to the TV and plugged in my external hard drive. All appeared to be working well.  The instructions said to copy and paste the photos to the folder I wanted them in from my external drive - which I did and it I can view my photos, videos and play music. However, when I do a slide show of my photos I click on the back ground music but no music files are shown, so I cannot play any?

On the home screen, I have “set up” instead of “settings” and under “set up” it shows different options as to what appears in the installation guide.

When I try and do a slide show of all the photos in say “2008” file it will only do a slide show of the first folder in “2008” and not any more?

Does this mean I havn’t set it up correctly???

It wont jump from one folder to a different one… now if you have all the pictures on the same folder, it will play all of them.

Regarding the background music, 

  1. Select Background Music, then press ENTER.
  2. Select Select Music, then press ENTER.
  3. Select a song or directory of music files you want to use for background music,
    then press ENTER.

Keep in mind that you need to have music files on the elements play.
