hello, new external server, have tried to run the backup since yesterday’s install, still failing, set vsc to manual and started service, nothing. any thing i can try? thanks!
If you look in diskmgmt.msc on the win 8 box. Does the hard drive have an efi partition?
If so you need this hotfix. Just select the first of the two choices.
As well make sure your server and PC(s) are fully updated.
If you need the above hotfix, it should automagicaly reinstall all of your pc clients if you wait long enough. If not, programs and features, remove, then browse to servername/connect and reinstal
