Secure folder sharing on my cloud home

Hi,
I have recently bought a My Cloud Home 6T. I am on a Mac and when I go to share a folder I can only share an unsecured link to that folder, so anyone with that link can access it. Is there a way to create specific user access with read or read and write access to a folder so I can add and delete users when I need?

I don’t own one, but, have you visited the Learning Center, http://learn.mycloud.com/, and read the User Manual? Check out Common Questions too.

Thanks for your reply. I have looked at the learning centre as well as been online to search the topic but I don’t seem to be able to find how or if you can do this. I have also contacted the support team but haven’t had a response. The only way I can find is sharing a link but this is unsecure and downloads untraceable.

Its clear and sad that secure is NOT the direction they wanted to go with these. reg mycloud was waybetter
