Search Function Fail

This is my first post here. Thanks for any replies.

When I try searching my My Book Live, well, it fails. Is this a problem I just have to deal with? I’m using a MacBook Pro. I don’t seem to have the same problem when using the same search function on my WD Passport.

Hi there,

Sometimes it happens with windows search and spotlight, the search function does not go through on finder, this might be because it is going though a network location. Try to access the My Book Live from finder, then on the desired share try to do a search to see if it works this way.
