SD card is not start to import when charging

When I’m charging my passport wireless pro (2TB). I inserted my SD card into it, but it’s not start to backup my SD card.

But when using in battery mode (not charging), when insert SD card. It will start backup automatically.

Is this normal?

My device imports normally when charging. Possibly it won’t import until it reaches a certain charge, _
