hi WD community

my 500gb passport essential keeps saying SCAN and FIX every time i mount the HDD and  at  some point  when on the HDD it tell me access denied  to some folders

when i copy files ESP MEDIA FILES they are usually corrupt

please is there any fix for this my whole life is kinda on the HDD pls HELP!!!

You can try running Data Lifeguard Diagnostics or other application that allows you test and repair the corrupted partition.

Before you start playing with your HD I would STRONGLY suggest you make a copy of it first. Then you have something to go back to.
