First off I’d like to say I’m really impressed with my Ex4!
The problem I have is that when I’m accessing my Ex4 from home and I edit a file called Updates-11-02-15 and do a save as, so I can save it at as NewUpdates-11-02-15 it doesn’t update on my drive and no new file is created.
If I just edit the file and click save it updates the file fine.
Is this an issue or have I missed something in the setup?

Please make sure that the path that you are following is on the drive and not on the computer itself.
Just as a test to see if you are saving the file on the computer instead of the drive, can you please do a search on your computer for the files that you are saving as? (NewUpdates-11-02-15)

It does seem to be saving to my computer, I did notice that. Here is the location it is sacing to
C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\com.wd.WDMyCloud\Local Store
This is only happening when I’m trying to save a file when im accesssing my EX4 remotely using the WD My Cloud App.
Any idea?

Hi,
Not sure if office will be able to save a file remotely.However, once you are done with the files, you can drag and drop the file into the my cloud add and it will upload the file back to the drive remotely.
Bloody **bleep**…I kind of feel stupid now, didn’t occur to me to drag and drop although I didn’t know you could!
