Sorry for posting such a simple question however I cannot find an answer on this forum or in the manual.
The admin interface page (the one accessed from the internet) would not load correctly preventing me from rebooting. If this happens, what is the safe method of powering off the drive?
If you install WD Quickview on you PC then you can shut the MCM down via that.
Or you can maybe connect your computer directly to the MCM via an ethernet cable and access the dashboard directly. It may work if it’s a network issue doing you accessing it now.
If all else fails make sure nothing is accessing it (remove the Ethernet cable) and it’s not doing something internally and then pull the plug.
Thanks. I downloaded the software for my Mac but it will not install for some reason. A topic for another post if I cannot solve it in the next few days perhaps.
