I have failed drive B on My Book World Edition II (blue rings). Could anyone suggest do I need to send for RMA replacement only the faulty drive B or whole MBWE II box with power cable?

My blue ring has had drive a fail and I cannot get the blue rings to come on either. Are you still able to access data, I can’t and also need to know if I can simply buy another mybookworld blu ring and swap the drives over.
The latest with my story is that after lots of trial and error, I put the whole thing in my freezer for an hour, took it out and was able to use it for five minutes to retreive data. I have spent all day doing this and now have about half of my files on my PC. Try it, it may work for you too.
