I’ve some throuble with my western digital green caviar 500 Gb HD.
I’ve performed both the quick and the extended test with the data lifeguard diagnostics tools and there is certain number of bad sectors, but the utility was not able to repair them.
The code returned by the quick one is:
Test Result: FAIL
Test Error Code: 06-Quick Test on drive 2 did not complete! Status code = 07 (Failed read test element), Failure Checkpoint = 97 (Unknown Test) SMART self-test did not complete on drive 2!
while by the deeper:
Test Result: FAIL
Test Error Code: 08-Error was detected while repairing bad sectors.
Do you think I could access to the RMA substitution of hard disk?
