Risks of data loss

Hello,
Any risks of data loss when updating Ex2 ultra from OS3 to latest?
I dont have capacity elsewhere to backup at the moment.

And. . .we have identified problem Number One.

Always - ALWAYS have a backup. Get a USB external drive of whatever capacity is necessary . . .and then backup the NAS.

Theoretically the OS3 / OS5 transition should be safe for data. . . . but this is the type of the situation for which you want to always have a backup.
