Right Click "Sync to My Cloud" option has disappeared

Using Windows 10, 64-bit.

I was initially able to setup through “Sync to My Cloud” back up of a few folders. Then “Sync to My Cloud” on right click disappeared. I finally reinstalled WD Discovery. The “Sync to My Cloud” reappeared and began backup with duplicate folders. Then it stopped working. I rebooted and now “Sync to My Cloud” is gone again.

I am beyond frustrated! I used this with my Windows 7 machine for almost a year with no issues!

  1. is the issue observed on Windows 10 or Windows 7? (Both are mentioned in the post)
  2. msinfo32 from Windows Computer in question
  3. Version of WD Discovery and Desktop App installed when the Sync option appears
  4. Version of WD Discovery and Desktop App installed when the Sync option DOES NOT appear (did the silent update occur?)
