I wonder if this is possible. I’ve used the internal drives elsewhere and now I have left the empty box of My Book.
Seagate drive recognize but says not supported
HGST Ultrastar recognize and can be configured (with WD utility) but it won’t erase it or change the RAID mode to JBOD
OK I am aware that this box has been designed to work with the disks I’ve purchased… but I just feel bad to throw it away and want to reuse it somehow.
Ideas?
