I had a back of my C: drive on my WD MyBook 1TB drive. My drive crashed and I have not been able to restore the data. could use some help! Running Windows XP Pro(32) and certain folders cannot be copied or pasted. Most of my program files I need are among these as well as my documents and settings folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you use WD Smartware to run the backup on the old computer?
yes, I did and it doesn’t show the old drive volume at all. I talked to tWD support via phone and they told me to copy and paste, It works for some folders and not for others. There has to be a way to get it to work properly.
