I’m having trouble getting information about how to use my WD for the purpose of retrieving a backed up file from WD to replace the corrupted one. A link to a video or response will be appreciated. Most of Youtube says use an app to do this. I thought WD had its own software to enable this.

How often are your files backed up to your WD device?

WD does offer Acronis for backups.
