Restoring a backup from Microsoft to Mac

I got My Passport Ultra recently. I did a backup on my Surface Pro 2 (Microsoft) and I wanted to later restore it to a MacBook Air. Is there a way to do that?

Hello, the drive I have is My Passport Ultra. I just pressed the button where it says back up and waited until it was finished.

Hi, but which software, I mean, was it the WD Smartware or Windows backup or a third party software?
