Just started a 2TB file restore from a partition backup. Having looked at the directory just now, each file has a set of random characters appended to the original name. Please tell me there is some pass the software makes to restore these names to their originals. Expecting me to do this for 2TB of files is insane.

Look at that, sanity prevails. The files are indeed renamed after the restore! Sorry for the red herring here, but I couldn find anyting in the help or knowledge base (using the search terms I came up with).

I had to go through the same to realize the software encrypts the files and that is why the name is changed when they go to the backup folder.
