Restore Files To A New PC

I need to restore/recover selected files from a backup plan created on a Dell running XP3 (which crashed) to a new HP running Windows 7.  I don’t need ALL files, just selected ones such as documents, music, pictures, etc.  I know as a last resort I can copy and paste what I want but I’d like to avoid all the previous versions of the files (those file names appended with an “@” and a date tag.)

Any ideas?

HI, on the computer that crashed did you run a backup with WD Smartware?

No, I ran the backups with WD Anywhere Backup.
