Restarting

I’ve spent many hours wrestling with this easyStore drive. I thought I was getting someplace, but now it is totally messed up, and I need to just restart, but I can’t delete the time machine drive on my computer. I spent hours in chat with somebody, and I’ve contacted them again this morning, but I don’t have all day; I could use some help.
