Reset MyCloud

Trying to completely reset MyCloud drive. Manual says to plug in the power and press the RESET button at the same time and hold in for 40 seconds. Two issues:

1: Manual shows the reset button on the back of the machine but mine is not as pictured. There appears to be a reset button on the front of the device which is what I’m using.

2: However it doesn’t reset while pressing the front button as described.

Machine does work but I can’t delete some files which is why I’m trying this.

What would be my next step? Thanks.

First, what My Cloud device do you have? If it is the single bay do you know if it is the first generation Version 4.X or the second generation Version 2.X?
