I forgot the password, I thought to reset it for 4 seconds but I’m afraid it will erase the data from the disks.
Would you like to know if you only reset the password or also erase the data on the disks?

According to the instructions you have to hold the reset button for up to 1 minute until the light goes out and it shuts down. I used a paperclip to put into the hole above the USB outlet. Try holding a paperclip for a minute while pressing against the internal button in that hole. Not fun.
They should have put the reset button on the bottom if they are afraid we will accidentally reset our drives. I think you can also do it from your phone, but I can’t get the app to work properly for mine. It has a mind of its own.
