REQ v1.01.24 Play back of network video streams and network control

I really want to see a way of controling my wdtv over the home network perhaps over a web front and so play a specific file. i would also love it if that file could be network stream (a video stream in .m3u format) that would be a huge advatage to the unit and would see me recomending it to many AV installers.
