Replacing non-WD HDD with WD HDD using Acronis free

Hello All,
I have an Ethernet LAN where all PC’s have WD Blue except 1 machine that I’m replacing with a new, WD RE4 Black. I have Acronis free installed on all the WD machines (works great btw) and want to replace the old Seagate with the new WD for media/entertainment use. All are win7/64.

Should I use Cloning or Restore from System Image?
Any suggestions? Thank you neil2

Hi,

If you clone the current drive, you won’t need to re-install the operating system on the new WD drive.
