[SOLVED] Replacing My Cloud EX2 for My Cloud EX2 Ultra

Hi,

I have to replace my My Cloud EX2 for a My Cloud EX2 Ultra but using the same disks, I only change the device.

If I put the disks from the old My Cloud EX2 into the new My Cloud EX2 Ultra, will the latter recognize them correctly without the need to format or lose data?

Hi,

From memory I’m sure you are asked whether you want to migrate the disks. Don’t think it kept all of the settings, but I didn’t lose any of the data.
