Two out of four of my DX4000 disks started blinking RED. Couldn’t find exactly the same type.
Thanks to the info in this WEB I did the following and all works good. Thought it might help somebody:
-
Copied all my data to an external drive.
-
Removed the 4 original 2 TB disks, and installed 4 new 4 TB disks by Deskstar, model HGST HDN726040ALE614
-
Prepared a WDRECOVERY USB drive.
-
Added manually to the WHITELISTK.XML and WHITELISTS.XML files on it, the following line:
Model description=“MLC APK7JH 4 TB” size=“3815448” etype=“constant”>HGST HDN726040ALE614</Model -
Operated the init program.
-
Prepared System Recovery USB drive.
