I would like to ask if it’s possible to remove the HDD from the enclosure and replace it with an SSD.
Will everything work normal?

Even if it is possible …
I don’t think you’ll see any performance difference due to the speed being determined by your Network speed and of course the Firmware controlling the My Cloud.
Will it work normal ? … if it does, then it will be as normal and no different before you replaced the HDD with a SSD.
Which makes the whole thing an expensive and pointless exercise.
I don’t care about speed.
It’s about reliability, I’m not comfortable with spinning disks for backups. The disk inside started to have clicking noises and I’m not sure how long it will last.
Also if the device falls to the floor goodbye data.
So my question remains.
