Replace drive on My Passport Pro

My Passport Pro Thunderbolt drive RAID 1 configuration.

If one of the two drives fails how do you replace the drive?

What is the model number of the drive used to replace the failed drive?

When the new drive is added is the RAID 1 rebuilt automatically?

Regads,

On the user manual and on the WD support site knowledge base, you will be able to find information on how to replace the drive in case that one fails.

Model number of the drive might vary depending on the manufacturing date of the unit. You will need to open the drive to see the specific model number.

Yes, once you put the replacement drive on the unit, it will rebuilt it self.

I seached the user guide and knowledgebase but I could not find instructions on opening up the Passport Pro to get at the drive. Can you give me the link?

If replacing the drive voids the warranty then the drive is not worth buying.
