I think the power supply had issues and it was out of warrenty so I removed the drive and used Linux Reader to view the drive in Windows but which folder holds my files?
Are you looking for data which were written by SmartWare? If so, look for “WD SmartWare.swstor”. Inside, you should find a folder with the name of your computer. In fact, do a search for your computer’s name.
If the drive came with Smartware it is hardware encrypted by a circut board. There might be a format issue also so try posting in the network section.
