Remove WDHD frm Mac without ejecting

i accidentally removed WD Passport wihout ejecting it from mac properly. Now i can access the HD. what should i do? Anyway to retrieve all files?

please help!

I don’t know much about Macs but you probably corrupted some partition data. I sent PizzaMatrix a PM about this he can probably help you.

Most likely is corrupted, you can use Photorec to recover the info. However, that’s not 100% sure.

If the drive was formatted FAT32 then TestDisk and PhotoRec can help you, if the drive was HFS+ (Mac only) then try Disk Warrior.
