I have a client that is looking for all the features of the EX2 for a local in house backup of about 7 Windows based PCs. Cloud based storage solutions are not suitable due to limited upload bandwidth from the facility, so an EX2 located on premises would work well. Located in San Diego, the lesson has been hard taught to make sure that you have an off-site backup in the event of the whole building burning down or theft. The client was using a backup solution involving rotating two drives alternating weeks one at home one at the office.
My question is, “Does the EX2 allow for a mirror to an external drive that could be removed from the premises and swapped with a second external drive?”
