I have an iMac running Snow Leopard and I live and work abroad. Connected to this machine is a WD My Book external drive that I use to store my pictures. I’m looking into off-site/cloud back-up options and came across the My Book Live. What I want to do is set up the MBL drive at my parents’ home in the US and connect through the Internet. But I also want to have Time Machine run the back-ups. Is this possible? In my mind, I see the MBL showing up in finder as another drive, but I’m not so sure this is the case. I also came across _ THIS _ thread and wonder if this is the answer to what I’m seeking.
