Remote safepoint

I want to build a personal cloud setup where my data is regularly backed up on a remote device for protection against theft and disaster.
I understand that MyCloud safepoint is only available for devices connected to the local network, which wouldn’t provide such a degree of protection.

Is there any way to achieve such a setup with MyCloud, or another product at WD?

Remote backups are not supported on the WD My Cloud. However Remote backups are supported on the WD My Cloud EX2 And EX4
